A great island experience is all about meeting the right people in the right place! So is this Greek Cooking class in Mykonos, the “Island of the Winds”. Experience the traditional Greek way of life, its culture and learn the best-kept secrets of the local Greek recipes from a very friendly and hospitable cook!

Your tour begins with pick up from your hotel and transfer to a traditional luxury farm where you will be welcomed by your host. Through their experience and narrations, you can indulge yourself into the Mykonian culture and history and feel truly Greek while you savor some Mykonian meze snacks like ‘dakos’ with ‘kopanisti’ cheese and tomato, ‘louza’ (sun-dried pork fillets), wine and Cretan raki. Wander through the vegetable garden, learn about local organic farming and enjoy a charming, friendly and hospitable environment.

Afterwards, take the opportunity to put your hands on making some of the best known traditional Greek recipes such as tzatziki and spinach pie, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, beef with orzo and many other delicacies included in the traditional menu. All participants will be provided with the necessary equipment and the cooking ingredients, as your host guides you through the whole procedure, allowing everyone to master their cooking skills. After the preparation and before lunch/dinner time you can either relax and enjoy the company of your classmates, visit the family’s farm and vineyard and experience the traditional animal and organic farming or you can take a quick swim at a beautiful nearby beach.

This experience is much more than a cooking class, instead it is about quality time in an ‘extended’ family home, finding yourself in their kitchen, helping to cook, meeting new people and experiencing what Greek hospitality is all about.

This tour is organized for groups with a minimum number of participants 2 or it can be arranged privately for up to 6 persons and is offered in English language. For larger groups up to 20, prices are available on request.
