Embark on a sensory journey in Naxos where you will learn how culture, mythology, and gastronomy of Naxos are strongly related, as you taste divine flavors which this very fertile island produces, such as citrus, grapes and olives.  On this tour, you will have the opportunity to learn how these products have been processed throughout the years, and taste unique flavors and spirits.

Start your journey with a visit to a beautiful farm where a never-ending journey of history and mythology begins. You will visit the Distillery, a place with 106 years of history, and be welcomed by the 4th generation of producers who will guide you through the production of the Naxian liqueur “Kitro”, Raki, Wine and Ouzo, accompanied by local mezedes.

Next, you will visit a fully restored and family-owned old olive oil factory, where you will learn how the “Liquid Gold” once was prepared, as well as sample its delectable olive oil products.

Let each sip and bite transport you through centuries of tradition, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for Naxos’s culinary heritage.

This tour is private for small groups of 1 –8 persons done by private car or minivan and is offered in English language. For larger groups up to 15, prices are available on request.

Children and infants are welcome to participate with parental guidance.
