Mountain Bike Adventure in Tinos
Embark on an exhilarating downhill mountain bike adventure in Tinos, where rugged trails intertwine with breathtaking scenery.
Navigate through 8 picturesque villages and a total length of 16km in a 3-hour ride, beginning from the highest village of Tinos, Arnados, which is the highest balcony of the island overlooking the Aegean Sea. We descend towards the villages of Kechros, Steni, Falatado, an old village built amphitheatrically and dating back to 1400s, across from Kechrovouni village, to continue to Koumaros, and Volax.
In Volax, which is halfway through our route, we will take a break at one of the traditional cafes of the village. This unique settlement is nestled between huge granite stone formations due to a volcanic eruption that happened thousands of years ago. These natural boulders in contrast to the white houses give a natural charm to the area and are a rare geological phenomenon of unique beauty. We continue our journey passing from Perastra and finally reaching the lowest village of Tinos, Komi, resting in its traditional architectural element and its white-washed stone houses, narrow streets, and arched bridges between the houses over the tight pathways.
This tour is private for small groups of 2-6 persons and is offered in English language.
Please bear in mind that the tour may be uncomfortable for participants with heart problems or other medical conditions.
