Milos Food Tour Experience
Are you craving to discover the heart and soul of Milos’ food? Get ready to savor the finest flavors of the legendary Greek cuisine, straight from the most renowned restaurants of the island. Whether you are a gastronomy aficionado or just wish to explore the unique local flavors, this experience aims to wow you!
This private tour of local products and recipes is perfectly paired with the exclusive wine tasting session, after which you will embark on this unique food journey to taste the most typical delicacies of Milos, with stops in the most renowned restaurants of the island, exploring at the same time the island itself.
We will start from Pollonia, the gastronomic capital of Milos, where you will explore the local wine varieties in a special winery, located in a cave, and have a first bite of local savory delicacies, like tomato fritters or pitarakia right after the wine tasting session.
The journey continues with a stopover in Paliochori, on the south coast of Milos, for the unique tasting of food cooked only with the natural heat, placed inside a hole of the volcanic sand.
Next, you will drive to Plaka, the capital of Milos, to explore one of the most renowned family-owned pastry shops and taste the Koufeto, the traditional local desert. As we head back to Pollonia, we will stop at the Katiforo at the local bakery with panoramic views at the outskirts of Adamas, to try Milos’ authentic watermelon pie (“karpouzopita”).
This tour is private for small groups of 1 – 6 persons (maximum).
