Boat Tour Folegandros

Wish to see the highlights of Folegandros island in a day? Take an island boat tour to see this wild Cycladic gem and experience the best that Folegandros has to offer. In this six hour boat tour you will dive in pristine waters, visit mystical caves, chill in secluded bays, taste small local treats and drink some authentic Raki. At the end of the day you will have a real sense of this small paradise and some unbeatable memories!

A boat excursion that will take you to all those secret spots in Folegandros you have read about but cannot approach due to the limited road access on the island…nor you had planned to hike to the remote coves neither. All you have to do is climb aboard and explore Folegandros by the sea, in a full day cruise of relaxation and beautiful scenery, during which you will make five swimming stops (each approximately 30 min – 1 hour long) to dive in its crystal clear sea, sun bathe, spend time with your company and enjoy a traditional snack.

During the cruise, you will also see some of the most important highlights such as Chrysospilia, one of the largest sea caves in Greece situated directly below the famous Chora, a cave of great archaeological interest that is accessible only by the sea and still remains unexplored by the public – it is believed to be a place of worship and coming-of-age rituals in antiquity; you will make several stops at blue water coves ideal for deep swims, visit white pebble beach of Livadaki that resembles a small oasis due to its turquoise waters, reach Agios Nikolas wind protected sandy beach covered with tamarisks, which happens to be a very popular spot for visitors who can enjoy some excellent sea food delicacies in a beach restaurant and admire panoramic views from the picturesque church overlooking the bay. Finally, you will reach Katergo, the longest dark grey beach with pebbles and azure crystalline waters, ideal for snorkeling and deep dives that Folegandros is known for.

There are three different routes which the excursion can take, depending on the weather, either visiting the north side, the south side, or making a full round trip (all are weather permitting). Please note that the itinerary may be reversed or the schedule altered based on prevailing weather conditions. However, whichever route the tour takes the amount of stops and length of the tour remain the same.

This tour is organized (group) with minimum number of participants 15.

Children (4 – 10 years old) and infants are welcome to participate with parental guidance. 

Please remember to prepare a beach bag (with bathing suits, beach towels etc) as we will be making swimming stops along the way.
