Discover the east coast of Athens with a premium 4×4 vehicle and our experienced Safari Captain. This 7-hour fun-packed adventure will begin from your hotel where you will be welcomed by our driver who will brief you through the day’s itinerary.  Our first stop will be the point where the classic 42km Marathon competition begins and we will walk you through the history behind this epic running event.  Next stop is the Marathon Lake, as we drive until we reach the wall that was constructed in 1930 for the creation of the Lake. Back to our vehicles, and the Off-Road Adventure begins!  We will keep driving along the banks of the lake to discover hidden camping spots, and freshwater pools, created by rivers streaming into the lake. We will make stops to collect thyme, lavender, oregano and other seasonal herbs. We will also make some necessary photo stops, as our route follows small hills providing panoramic views. We will keep driving until we reach Saint Anna Chapel, a little chapel built for special ceremonies such as Easter and Christmas Day although it is always open to hikers and pilgrims who visit the forest. It serves as a perfect spot for a refreshing break. We will continue towards  Saint Porphyrios Monastery, where we will admire the surrounding landscapes until it’s time for lunch at a traditional tavern at Malakasa. Closing our day full of beautiful memories and adventurous moments, we will finish our journey back to your hotels. This road trip adventure is an unforgettable experience packed with fun, amazing scenery, and a local touch of nature!

This tour is semi private for small groups of 1-8 persons (maximum) or it can be arranged privately for up to 8 persons and is offered in English and French language.

Children (4 – 12 years old) and infants are welcome to participate with parental guidance.
