This ultimate West Coast speed boat adventure tour will take you to see the best that Milos island has to offer, if you enjoy cave exploration and dramatic rocks coming out of the sea, swimming through the underwater sea passages, snorkeling in the crystal turquoise waters and enjoying the summer breeze while the sea drops splash against your face.

You will start you cruise from Adamas port while learning about the history, geology and the island’s culture from a local guide. Your first 45’ stop is at the impressive Sykia cave, one of the biggest sea caves in Milos. Sykia will captivate you with its peculiarity. Its ceiling has partially collapsed, probably due to an earthquake, and sun rays enter the cave and light up its crystal emerald water. The cave leads to a small beach which you can easily reach by swimming. Here you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery, dive in the emerald waters and have a delicious homemade snack onboard.

Next, you will head towards the famous Kleftiko for our 2-hour stop, a unique volcanic landscape formed 3 million years ago, that has been a pirate hideout for centuries, where you will discover Milos’ most mesmerizing landmark by going on a guided snorkel safari to explore the fascinating caves and exiting underwater passages and swim in its crystal clear waters. As you get onboard, platters with fresh fruit and traditional Milos snacks will be served along with refreshments or a cold beer.

You will continue further to Kalogries bay for another 45’ swimming stop, a small bay in the northwestern part of Milos that comprises contrasting scenery with greenish rocks and almost transparent shallow waters and it is considered the natural swimming pool of the island.  As we head back towards Adamas, the boat will speed down in front of the picturesque fishermen village of Klima, allowing you to get panoramic views and photos of the unique local architecture.

Adventure Boat Tour in Milos Island Cyclades

Depending on the weather, an alternative South Coast cruise may be followed. By taking the south route, you will experience an explosion of colors along the coastline due to the differences in the natural geological setting. In such case you will start from Paleochori, known for its red volcanic color and therapeutic waters and cruise along the stunning southern coastline of Milos in order to reach Kleftiko, passing by the famous Firiplaka comprised of yellowish–white rocky formations and idyllic beach setting which is very popular among tourists; Agia Kyriaki and its darker sand and turquoise waters, or Provatas beach with its thin yellow sand. Your first swimming stop at Gerakas is located where the slopes of Milos’ youngest volcano meet the sea, enjoying a contrasting scenery with white pumice sand and clear blue waters. Next, you will get to the worldwide known Kleftiko to admire its mesmerizing beauty for our 2-hour stop for swimming and lunch.  Finally, your last swimming stop is in Tsigrado bay, a true paradise for adventure lovers as the beach is accessible only by the sea or climbing down a thin wooden ladder and rope if you come from the shore.

If the weather allows it, after the stop in Kleftiko, the captain will decide if the boat can visit Sykia cave, evaluating the weather conditions and always prioritizing your safety.

There are two different routes that the excursion can take, depending on the weather, either starting from Adamas to visit the west side up to Kleftiko, or starting from Paleochori to visit the south side and ending in Kleftiko (both are weather permitting). Please note that the itinerary may be reversed or the schedule altered based on prevailing weather conditions. However, whichever route the tour takes Kleftiko will not be omitted from the excursion.

This cruise is organized (group) with minimum number of participants 10, or it can be arranged privately for small groups of 1 – 14 persons. For larger private groups (up to 22 persons) prices are available on request.

Children and infants (up to 12 years old) are welcome to participate with parental guidance.

We booked a Milos island cruise with Jana and it was amazing! We snorkeled through caves and swam at hidden beaches. They wined and dined us and even sent us a CD with photos of the day. We loved our hosts too!

Jana went above and beyond in helping us book, advised us on ferry schedules, found us a deal on a car rental and even gave us advice about where to go and where to eat! (Gotta try the swordfish souvlaki at Medusa in Mandrakia!) I can't say enough about her service! Thank you, Jana, and we can't wait to book our next adventure through you!!
