Embark on a spiritual journey through the serene landscapes of Andros on this tour which offers a unique opportunity to explore ancient monastic sites steeped in history and nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes.

We will visit the monastery of Agios Nikolaos dating back to the 17^th century, settled in one of the most isolated places of the island, overlooking the rugged coastline of Andros.

Next you will visit Agia Marina monastery, a 10-minute drive from Chora, founded back in the 3rd century AC and one of the oldest monasteries across the Aegean Sea, dedicated to Saint Marina who was known for her healing powers. Agia Eirini, founded in 1780, is a private property not operated by monks or nuns but has an excellent view, located in Apoikia village.

Finally, we will continue to explore Panachrantos Monastery, built in 960 AC during the Byzantine Empire, which is perched on the top of a hill, and radiates an aura of tranquillity and admiration.

This tour is semi-private with minimum number of participants 8 and is offered in English and Greek language, or it can be arranged privately for up to 4 persons.

Children (4 – 11 years old) and infants are welcome to participate with parental guidance. 

Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. For ladies skirts by the knee or longer are required. No pants for ladies, no shorts, no sleeveless shirt. For men sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee are prohibited.
