See Authentic Mykonos Island
Embark on a half day journey through the authentic side of Mykonos, immersing yourself in the island’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty.
You will be picked up from your hotel to continue along the Agios Stefanos road which offers spectacular views of Mykonos town, before you reach the lighthouse which is standing like a sentinel over the Armenistis area, offering beautiful scenery and breathtaking views to the new port area and the island of Tinos. The mechanism of the first lamp of “Armenistis” is exposed outside by the building of Aegean Naval Museum, in the center of Mykonos, as a testimony to maritime history.
From there you will navigate around the island to make a first stop at a panoramic viewpoint of the island in order to capture the beauty of the surroundings. Next, we will visit the picturesque small port of Agios Ioannis named after the small church of Saint Ioannis that is built on the hill overlooking the beach and the sacred island of Delos.
You will then proceed to Mykonos Airport for a panoramic view of the aircraft runaway area. While heading to Ano Mera village, you will pass through the island’s agricultural area and reach the monastery of Panagia Tourliani for a short tour through its chambers. A visit to a traditional luxury farm follows, where you can opt to enjoy a light snack that includes local products from the farm. Before the end of this tour, you will head to the most distant beaches of Mykonos (Kalo Livadi, Kalafati and Agia Anna) to admire the beautiful scenery. After a day full of memories, you will be driven back to your hotel.
