Are you an adventurous spirit who loves horses? If so, we suggest you take this opportunity to get in touch with nature and experience the most scenic trail while riding a horse, which passes through the untouched natural surroundings and picturesque hiking trail uphill. This trail takes approximately 2,5 hours along a moderate route, suitable for anyone (12+ years old) who would like to try out horseback riding, even for the first time. Our experienced instructors will ensure a pleasant and safe ride while we offer guidance as well as all the necessary equipment.

About your route: Firogia – Panagia Niliou

We will begin our journey from Fyrogia riding towards Profitis Ilias, Vathi, to reach our end location – Panagia tou Niliou (i.e.‘Lady of the Sun’). We will cross through the mountain and the valley of Skafi passing the monastery of Taxiarchis and the cave of Vougnou. When we reach the top we will come to a plateau before we begin to descend to the other side of the mountain to reach the Panagia Niliou church which offers breathtaking views of the sea towards the islands of Kimolos and Milos, especially at sunset. Our beautiful horses will need rest while you will have an opportunity to relax and admire panoramic views, before beginning our journey back to Firogia.

This tour is private for small groups of 1-4 persons.

Children (12 – 18 years old) are allowed to participate with parental guidance.
