Paros & Antiparos Island Highlights Bus Tour
Take an opportunity to discover the most important highlights of Paros and Antiparos islands in just one day! We will start our tour from Parikia town to visit the castle and the church of Saint Constantine and Helen, the most scenic spot of Paros, to continue through the alleys and arrive at Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the oldest churches in the country built around 400 AC and the main attractions of Paros. Not only is it an architectural and archaeological monument, but the church of “Our Lady of the Hundred Gates” is one of the most important pilgrimage sites throughout Greece.
Next, we continue to the port of Pounta, where we will take the short 7 min ferry to Antiparos, to stroll through the picturesque little town and visit the Venetian fortress (dated from the 15th century) which is still inhabited. Later on, we will make a midday stop for lunch or swimming.
Returning to Paros, we continue to Lefkes to experience the traditional architecture of the island’s former capital, which was built amphitheatrically in a cruciform shape and is surrounded by small forest areas, olive groves and vineyards.
In the afternoon we arrive in Naoussa, a picturesque fishing village with all its Cycladic charm. We take a little walk through its narrow roads and the port with colorful fishing boats, which could be your picture-perfect scenery for great photos! The tour ends around 17:00 and you will be transferred back to your hotel or nearby.
This tour is organized (group) with minimum number of participants 15 and is offered in English language.
